VELOCE MARKETPLACE · DEALERS

TURN YOUR EXPERTISE INTO CONSIGNMENT REVENUE.

Collectors in your area want to sell their watches — safely, through a professional. Be that professional. You set the inspection fee. You set the commission. Veloce brings the sellers, runs the escrow, and pays you automatically.

No payment processing to build, no buyer disputes landing in your inbox, no invoicing. Authenticate, list, ship — collect.

THE SHORT ANSWER

The Veloce Marketplace lets authorized watch dealers earn consignment revenue with none of the payment infrastructure. You set your own inspection fee (paid upfront when you accept a consignment) and your own commission rate (adjustable per deal). Veloce vets every dealer, escrows every buyer payment, and pays you automatically through Stripe after delivery. Your platform rates are locked in at approval — later fee changes never touch you.

THREE WAYS THIS PAYS

Inspection fees — paid upfront

You set a one-time authentication and inspection fee. Collectors pay it the moment you accept their consignment request — before you've listed anything. Steady, low-effort revenue from your expertise.

Commission on every sale

Set your standard rate (typically 10–20%) and adjust it per deal — trim it on a high-value piece to win the consignment, hold it on standard inventory. The seller sees and agrees to the rate before anything lists.

New customers, zero ad spend

Every listing carries your business name and links to your dealer profile — on the Veloce website (SEO-indexed) and in the app. Consignments turn sellers and buyers into store customers.

FROM APPLICATION TO FIRST PAYOUT

01

Apply from your dashboard

Open your dealer page, hit Seller Dashboard, and complete the marketplace application: business info, license uploads, and your authentication credentials. Veloce reviews and approves.

02

Set your terms

Inspection fee, standard commission rate, and listing period (30/60/90 days). Connect Stripe for automatic payouts. Flip on "Accept consignments" — you're live.

03

Accept requests & authenticate

Collectors near you submit watches with photos. Accept the ones you want — the inspection fee is charged automatically — then inspect and authenticate.

04

Agree a price & list

Propose a market price with your reasoning; the seller accepts or counters (max three rounds). Verify their ID and ownership at drop-off, pick the watch category, and publish.

05

Ship & get paid

When it sells, the buyer's money is already in escrow. Ship insured with signature required, add tracking, and your commission lands in your Stripe account after the 3-day window.

Escrow & payouts handled

Buyers pay Veloce. You're paid by Stripe transfer after delivery plus the 3-day window — commission math, splits, and seller payouts all happen automatically.

Vetted network keeps value high

Every marketplace dealer passes a license and authentication-credential review. Buyers trust the badge — which keeps prices (and your commissions) at full market.

A record for every deal

Structured negotiation, version-tracked signed agreements, and permanent seller chat. When questions come up later, the facts are on file.

Disputes go to Veloce

Buyer issues route to Veloce's resolution team with the full sale record. You respond once with your notes — no chargeback fights, no inbox wars.

DEALER CONSIGNMENT — FAQ

What does it cost to join?

Applying is free. Veloce keeps a small platform percentage of sales and inspection fees — shown in your dashboard before you apply — and your rates are locked in at approval. Later platform changes never affect you.

What do I need to be approved?

Legal business details (name, EIN, address), a business license upload plus any reseller/secondhand-dealer permit your state requires, and documented authentication capability: an in-house credentialed watchmaker or a named certified third-party authenticator.

How is the money handled?

Entirely by Veloce through Stripe. Buyers pay into escrow; after delivery plus the return window, your commission and the seller's payout transfer automatically. Inspection fees pay out when charged. You never invoice anyone.

What am I on the hook for?

Authentication and accurate listings, seller ID and ownership verification at drop-off, safekeeping while consigned, and insured signature-required shipping within 3 business days of a sale — all defined in the dealer agreement you sign.

What if a buyer disputes a sale?

Disputes go through Veloce's resolution team, not your inbox. You respond with your inspection notes; the permanent chat record and signed agreements are all on file. Refunds, when warranted, come from escrow.

Can I run this from the app?

Yes — the full dealer consignment dashboard works identically in the Veloce app and on the web: requests, negotiation, drop-off KYC, listing creation, orders, and shipping.
