WHY SUBMIT
Get Your Watch News in Front of Serious Collectors
Veloce is built for the people who actually love watches — not casual browsers, but dedicated collectors, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs who live and breathe horology. When you submit news to Veloce, you're putting your story directly in front of the community that cares most about it.
Whether you're a heritage maison launching a new complication, an independent microbrand releasing your first watch, a strap maker expanding your collection, or a collector with a discovery worth sharing — this is the place to be heard.
Reach Real Collectors
Our community is made up of passionate watch enthusiasts who actively seek out new releases, discuss movements, and invest in timepieces they love.
Support Independent Brands
We believe the next great watchmaker shouldn't need a marketing budget to get noticed. Veloce gives emerging brands a platform alongside established names.
Grow the Community
Every new story, release, and educational piece makes the Veloce community richer. Your news contributes to a living archive of horology that collectors return to again and again.
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone with a Watch Story Worth Telling
You don't need to be a big brand or have a PR agency to submit news to Veloce. If your story is genuine, watch-related, and something our community would want to read, we want to hear about it.
- Watch Brands & Manufacturers — Announce new references, limited editions, reissues, collaborations, or technical innovations.
- Independent & Micro Brands — Get your debut release, crowdfunding campaign, or expansion in front of an audience actively looking for the next great independent.
- Strap & Accessories Makers — New leather, rubber, NATO, or metal bracelet releases belong here too — the right strap transforms a watch.
- PR Agencies & Brand Representatives — Submit on behalf of your watch brand clients. We review all submissions on merit, not budget.
- Collectors & Enthusiasts — Uncovered a fascinating piece of watch history? Found a rare reference? Have an educational breakdown of a movement? Share it.
- Watch Historians & Educators — Deep dives into the history of a caliber, the story behind an iconic reference, or explainers on complications are exactly what our community loves.
WHAT WE PUBLISH
Ten Categories of Watch Content
Veloce covers the full spectrum of watch culture. Here's exactly what each category covers so you can submit in the right place.
New Watch Releases
Official announcements of new references, updated models, limited editions, and debut collections from any brand — heritage house or first-timer. Include case dimensions, materials, movement specs, water resistance, and retail price.
New Strap & Bracelet Releases
The strap ecosystem is huge, and the right strap can completely transform a watch. Submit new leather, rubber, NATO, Perlon, mesh, or custom bracelet releases here — including width options, materials, and compatible references.
Watch History
The stories behind legendary references, the histories of great manufactures, milestone moments in horology, and deep dives into how the industry evolved. This is the section for collectors who want to understand the "why" behind the watches they love.
Watch Education
Explainers on how watch movements work, the difference between an automatic and manual wind, what makes a tourbillon special, how to read a chronograph, the anatomy of a bezel — anything that helps collectors understand their watches better.
Brand Stories & Interviews
Behind-the-scenes profiles of watchmakers, brand founders, master craftspeople, and influential figures in the industry. If there's a human story behind a watch brand, this is where it lives.
Vintage & Rare Watches
Auction highlights, significant discoveries, rare reference identifications, and the stories behind sought-after vintage pieces. The Veloce community includes serious vintage collectors who value depth and accuracy.
Watch Events & Shows
Coverage and previews of major industry events: Watches & Wonders, SIHH, BaselWorld, SalonQP, and regional collector meet-ups. Submit preview coverage, schedules, or post-event recaps with images.
Watch Reviews
Honest, hands-on reviews from collectors who've actually worn the watch. Not press release paraphrasing — real-world impressions of dial quality, wearability, value, movement performance, and finishing.
Watch Market & Collecting
Trends in pre-owned pricing, investment potential, which references are holding value, how to start a collection on a budget, and what's driving demand in the grey market. Data-informed, collector-focused analysis.
Watch Care & Maintenance
Servicing intervals, cleaning straps, regulating a movement, understanding water resistance ratings, and how to store a collection safely. Practical content that helps collectors protect and preserve what they own.
SUBMISSION TIPS
How to Write a Strong Submission
Our editorial team reviews every submission. The ones that get published quickly share a few things in common.
Lead with the spec sheet
Case diameter, lug width, thickness, materials (case, crystal, bracelet), movement type, power reserve, water resistance, and price. Collectors need these details.
Include high-quality press images
Upload a minimum of 4 images — dial close-up, case side profile, caseback (if interesting), and wrist shot if available. Sharp, well-lit images get published faster.
Link to your primary source
Official brand press releases, authorised retailer pages, or your own brand's website. We verify submissions before publishing.
Explain why it matters
What makes this release significant? Is it a new movement? A surprise price point? A material innovation? Give collectors the context they need to form an opinion.
Add context for education pieces
If you're submitting a Watch History or Education piece, include accurate dates, reference numbers, and technical details. Our community will fact-check.
Be honest about affiliations
If you represent the brand, say so. Transparent submissions build trust with our editorial team and our community.
THE PROCESS
What Happens After You Submit
Instant AI Pre-Screen
As soon as you submit, our system checks that your content is genuinely watch-related. This filters out irrelevant submissions so our editorial team can focus on real watch news.
Editorial Review
A member of the Veloce editorial team reads your submission, checks your linked sources, and assesses it for accuracy, quality, and fit for our community.
Enhancement & Publishing
If approved, we may enhance your submission — adding formatting, additional context, or SEO improvements — before publishing it to the Veloce blog and our community feed.
Community Distribution
Published articles are shared with the entire Veloce community via the app feed, where collectors can like, comment, and share your news with fellow enthusiasts.
FAQ

Is there a fee to submit?
No. Submitting watch news to Veloce is completely free. We're a community-first platform and we want genuine watch stories — not paid placements.
How long does review take?
Most submissions are reviewed within a few business days. High-volume periods around major watch shows may take slightly longer. We'll contact you at the email you provided if we need more information.
Can I submit on behalf of a brand I represent?
Yes. PR agencies and brand representatives are welcome to submit. Please be transparent about your relationship to the brand in your submission.
What if my submission is declined?
We'll aim to explain why. Common reasons include insufficient watch relevance, low-quality images, or content that doesn't match our community's interests. You're welcome to resubmit with improvements.
Can I submit a watch I personally own or reviewed?
Absolutely. Independent collector reviews are some of our most popular content. Be honest about your relationship to the watch and whether you purchased it or received it for review.
Do you cover all price points?
Yes. From sub-$500 micro-brands to six-figure complications, Veloce covers watches at every level of the market. Our community includes first-time buyers and serious collectors alike.
