How it works
What this watch’s key specs actually mean on the wrist.
Quartz
Quartz movement
A battery sends current through a quartz crystal that vibrates exactly 32,768 times a second, which the watch counts to keep time to within seconds a month — more accurate than almost any mechanical watch. Grab-and-go reliable: no winding, low maintenance, and years between battery changes.
50m / 5 ATM
Water resistance
Rated to 50m / 5 ATM — fine for a shower, a rainstorm or a quick dip in the shallow end, but not for real swimming laps or diving.
36mm
Case size
The case measures 36mm across (excluding the crown) — the classic, do-anything size — balanced on most wrists and just as at home with a suit as with a tee. Case size is the single biggest factor in how a watch actually wears, so it's worth picturing against your own wrist.
Resin
Case material
Resin keeps the watch light and shock-absorbing — it takes knocks and drops that would dent metal, and shrugs off water and sweat. It's the backbone of go-anywhere, beat-on-it sports watches.
