Study the lot
You'll see the brand, model, reference number, vintage year, key highlights, and a brief description. Everything you need to calibrate your estimate.
Place your bid
Enter your price estimate in USD. A bid within 12% of the actual hammer price counts as correct — you don't need to be exact. Type any number and hit BID.
Higher or lower
After each wrong bid you'll see whether the true price is higher or lower, plus how far off you were. You have up to 3 bids — score more points by solving in fewer attempts.

Common questions
Are the auction results real?
Yes. Every lot is a genuine sale from a major auction house — Christie's, Phillips, Sotheby's, Antiquorum, or Bonhams. Hammer prices are the actual results, not estimates.
Do I need to know about watch auctions to play?
Not at all. The lot information gives you everything you need to make an educated guess — brand prestige, rarity, condition, and historical significance are all signalled by the highlights and description. Playing regularly will rapidly sharpen your market intuition.
What counts as a correct answer?
A bid within 12% of the actual hammer price is accepted as correct. You don't need to hit the exact number — the goal is to understand the ballpark value of each watch. Being within 5% earns more points.
How is the score calculated?
Scoring rewards both accuracy and efficiency. A first bid within 5% of the hammer price scores 1000 points. The score decreases with each additional bid and depends on how close your winning bid is. Three wrong bids still earn consolation points if you were within 25% of the price.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. The game is fully responsive and works on all mobile browsers. The numeric input is optimised for phone keyboards. No app download required.
How does the daily lot rotate?
A new lot drops every day at midnight UTC. All players worldwide see the same lot on the same day. Lots cycle through a curated library of the most historically significant and interesting auction results.
