Tin Can Timepieces SWCS | Tactical Titanium Tool Watch

Designed explicitly for long-range shooters, the Tin Can Timepieces SWCS is a purpose-built titanium tool watch that tracks ballistics right on the wrist. Featuring a proprietary TOTAL MOA bezel to mechanically lock in scope elevation adjustments, and a left-side 9 o'clock crown to eliminate gear snags while on the rifle, this 100-piece limited run delivers uncompromising field utility.

The tactical watch market is saturated with tool watches designed for aesthetics rather than action. Tin Can Timepieces disrupts this space with the release of the Shallow Water Combat Submersible, or SWCS—a mechanical instrument unapologetically engineered for the professional shooter.

This isn't a standard titanium diver with a military-inspired name. It is purpose-built ballistic equipment, designed from the ground up for those who depend on their gear. Centered around an innovative bezel that tracks bullet-drop adjustments, this is a watch built for a very specific operational job.

Limited to an inaugural run of just 100 pieces, the SWCS pairs a Swiss automatic movement with a case architecture dictated entirely by the demands of marksmanship and field utility.

The Tin Can Timepieces SWCS: A Shooter-First Spec Breakdown

The core philosophy of the SWCS revolves around addressing potential failure points and adding uncompromising utility for the marksman. This is evidenced by the durable material selection, the snag-free case construction, and the innovative tactical bezel.

The Case: Ergonomics for the Rifleman

The SWCS utilizes a Grade 2 titanium case, providing exceptional strength while remaining lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant for comfortable, all-day wear. Measuring 42 mm in diameter, the case architecture incorporates two critical modifications tailored for weapons handling.

First, the left-side 9 o'clock screw-down crown minimizes wrist interference, dramatically reducing the hazard of snagging on gear, plate carriers, or rifle slings during manipulation.

Second, the SWCS features fixed-lug construction. By replacing standard spring bars—one of the most common failure points found in traditional watch designs—with solid bars integrated directly into the case, Tin Can Timepieces ensures indestructible strap security in the field.

The Bezel: Built for Ballistics and Bullet Drop

The defining feature of the SWCS is its proprietary TOTAL MOA tactical bezel. Developed specifically for shooters, this bezel allows you to track the total elevation adjustment dialed into your optic.

Using MOA (minute of angle), a shooter can rotate the bezel to match their exact scope adjustment. This provides a simple mechanical reference right on the wrist, without relying on electronics or written notes.

This MOA bezel transforms the SWCS from a simple time-telling device into a dedicated piece of ballistic equipment, providing a reliable analog visual reference for your optic's current settings.

Dial, Lume, and Low-Light Legibility

Field legibility is paramount. The SWCS dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and optimized for night operations using BGW9 Super-LumiNova.

This luminous compound provides outstanding visibility in low-light conditions and is generously applied to the hands, hour indices, bezel, and the date disc—ensuring every vital piece of data remains fully visible in the dark.

The Engine: Swiss Reliability from Sellita

At the heart of the SWCS is the Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement. This trusted caliber delivers dependable mechanical performance without the need for batteries or charging—an essential factor for extended deployments.

The Inaugural Mission: A Limited First Run

Tin Can Timepieces is launching the SWCS with an inaugural production run strictly limited to 100 watches. Every SWCS features an individually serialized case back, making each watch a permanent part of the first generation.

Reservations are secured with a $200 fully refundable deposit, allowing early supporters to enter their preferred serial number in the Order Comments during checkout. Serial numbers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The $200 deposit is applied toward the watch's retail price of $1,149, with the remaining balance of $949 due before shipment.

This release model fosters a direct relationship between the brand and its early adopters, utilizing a classic microbrand approach that prioritizes community access to the inaugural mission.
