About Escapement
How does scoring work?
Each correct answer earns 200 points. With five questions per day, the maximum daily score is 1,000 points. The leaderboard ranks players by all-time average score, rewarding consistent knowledge across all days played.
What topics do the questions cover?
Six categories: Brand History, Movement Mechanics, Famous Wearers, Complications, Materials & Finishing, and Industry. Questions range from beginner-friendly to genuinely expert-level.
When does a new puzzle appear?
A fresh set of five questions drops every day at midnight UTC. You can only play each day's puzzle once — results are saved to your profile.
How does the leaderboard work?
The leaderboard ranks players by all-time average score — not just today's result. This means a player who scores 800 consistently will rank above someone who got 1,000 once and 200 the next day.
Is Escapement free?
Yes, completely free. Sign in with a Veloce account (also free) to save your scores and appear on the all-time leaderboard.
